Your Tax Dollars at Work!

  • In November 2016, the Creighton Community voted to pass an $85 million bond.

This means, the district will be authorized to issue and sell up to $85 million principal amount of school improvement bonds over the next 10 years. The money can only be used for capital items and improvements to existing facilities, such as buildings or renovating a school or purchasing school buses. The projects decided upon are based on areas of high need as determined by facility assessments and community feedback.

For Biltmore Preparatory Academy we have started to reimagine our campus for our students. The Biltmore Design Team is working with a variety of stakeholders to determine the needs of our campus and how to maximize our resources to provide our students with innovative and flexible learning spaces. While this is only a first phase with upgrading or rebuilding some of our spaces the design committee is creating a master plan for our campus. Proposed first phase projects include:

     - A new gym

    - Special area learning spaces

    - Middle school learning spaces

    - Parking and traffic flow reconfiguration

    - Learning space upgrades

Final projects will be driven by a variety of factors and determined collaboratively.

As we begin to plan for projects and reimagine our learning spaces, you can stay up to date on our progress, provide feedback, and receive communication for upcoming community collaboration meetings on our website.
